4. Initial use
Remove the kettle and the base plate out of the packaging and connect the base
plate to a properly installed earthed socket. Wipe the surface of the kettle using
a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any manufacturing residues, fill the water
container once with cold water up to the maximum mark before using it for the
first time. Boil the water by setting the target temperature to 100°C using the "+"
and "-" buttons or the "SET" button and pressing the "Start" button on the top of
the handle to switch on the device. Finally pour the water away.
5. Usage
Press on the lid opener to open the tiltable lid. Fill the kettle with cold water and
press the lid down till it locks into place.
Note: On the inside is a scale. Do not fill the container above the maximum mark.
The boiling water may spurt out if the kettle is overfilled.
