10) Place the leg assembly on the fl oor. Slip the Cylinder Cover (X) over the gas cylinder; the smaller
upper section should lock onto the cylinder. Lower the chair seat onto the gas cylinder so that the
chrome section goes into the hole in the tilter mechanism. To tighten, sit in the chair and this will
lock the gas cylinder onto the tilter mechanism.
11) TO ADJUST THE SEAT HEIGHT:
To lower the seat, sit in the chair and pull the lever up. Release the lever when the seat reaches
the desired height.
To raise the seat, pull the lever up without weight on the seat.
12) TO ADJUST THE TILT TENSION:
Turn the knurled knob clockwise to increase the tension.
Turn the knurled knob counter-clockwise to loosen the tension.
To lock the tilt mechanism, push the lever in and it will prevent the chair from tilting.
