5. Adjusting suction
The suction can be adjusted using the sliding knob on
the curved plastic tube. The suction is strongest with
the knob pushed forward, closing the aperture.
When vacuuming carpets/rugs, for example, moving
the sliding knob back to allow other air in can reduce
the suction.
Models with twin setting
The motor has two suction settings: high/low suction.
The motor will start in the setting last used.
You can adjust the vacuum cleaner to high or low suc-
tion by pressing the two-speed button.
6. Changing the dust bag
The dust bag must be changed when the suction decre-
ases. If the dust bag indicator is completely yellow/red,
you need to change the bag by following this proce-
dure.
Open the dust compartment by lifting the dust cover
with your hand.
With the bag still in the machine, pull up the corners of
the cardboard fl ap. This seals the bag.
Lift the bag out of the machine.
Unfold the new bag, insert it and close the dust com-
partment.
NB
The vacuum cleanerʼs efficiency depends on the quality
of the dust bag. Always use original dust bags
Using non-original dust bags invalidates the warranty.
7. Replacing the pre-filter
The pre-filter protects the motor from the microscopic
particles, which are not retained by the dust bag. It also
protects the motor in the event of breakage of the dust
bag. It should be changed for every 5 bags.
Remove the dust bag.
Replace the old pre-filter with a new one.
Reinsert the dust bag.
Click the front back retainer back into place.
NB
The vacuum cleanerʼs efficiency depends on the quality
of the pre-filter. Always use original pre-filters supplied
with the dust-bag.
Using non-original pre-filters invalidates the warranty.

8. Replacing HEPA filter/MICRO filter
The filter separates the exhaust air from the microsco-
pic particles, which are not retained by the dust bag.
To maintain constant suction, the dust filter must be
replaced after approx. 1 year of average use, or more
frequently for heavy use.
The filter must not be brushed or washed.
Lay the machine on its side on a clean and soft surface
to avoid scratches.
Loosen the three screws by turning them through 90¢™
using a coin.
Pull out the filter cover.
Replace filter.
Reinsert the filter cover. Tighten the three screws by
turning them through 90¢™
NB
The vacuum cleanerʼs efficiency depends on the size
and quality of the filter. Always use original filters.
Using non-original filters may result in impaired air-
flow and consequent overloading of the motor.
Using non-original filters invalidates the warranty.
9.Wall mounting
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a unique possi-
bility to store the vacuum cleaner on the wall. In order
to do so, please read the instruction.
The wall hanger can be fixed to the wall by using 3
screws with a diameter of 6mm. The type of screws to
be used depends on which type of material your wall is
made of.
The load applied to the wall hanger is 6kg.
To prevent the vacuum cleaner from accidentally fal-
ling down, you should not place the wall hanger on a
moving or swinging wall or door. Also, for safer sto-
rage, avoid using walls where children or animals have
access. Do not put other things than the vacuum clea-
ner itself on the wall hanger.
