Using the thin (15) and thick (16) slicing discs
•
Choose the slicing disc (15 or 16) according to the food and the desired cut:
- the "thin" grating/slicing disc (15) is used for cutting thinly,
- the "thick" grating/slicing disc (16) is used for cutting thickly.
One side of the disc is used to grate finely (carrots, potatoes, onions, cheese, etc.), the
other side is used to slice (potatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, etc.).
For thinner slices (15)
WARNING!
•
Never remove the lid (6) until the discs have come to a complete stop.
•
Handle the discs with care as they are extremely sharp!
•
Never use your fingers to push food into the feed tube (6). Always use the feed tube
pusher (7).

RaCtiCal tips
•
Always use fresh food.
•
Foods placed vertically are sliced or grated finer than those placed horizontally.
•
You will always notice a small amount of residue on the disc or in the bowl when using a
slicing disc. This is normal.
•
Cut the food into small pieces beforehand so that it can be easily inserted into the feed
tube.
