MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS: WINDOW MOUNT
The included window mount was designed to mount the spotting scope to any vehicle window for a truly unique viewing
experience. To mount the spotting scope to the window mount:
1) Follow the tripod mounting instructions
2) Before mounting, be sure that the vehicle's window has been adjusted to a height that is both comfortable for the viewer
and gives the assembled unit enough space to easily fit through and move freely. Be certain the window height is not too
low.
3) After the scope and window mount have been assembled, turn the window mount so that the flat side of its base is facing
outside and the mounting screw is facing the inside of the vehicle. Place the mount onto the window so that the glass fits
inside the mount's molded indention and between the two rubber cushions.
4) Turn the window mount's mounting screw clockwise until tightened. Be sure that there is no shift of the window
mount.
5) To disassemble, firmly take hold of the window mount and scope and turn the window mount screw counterclockwise.
6) To disassemble the window mount from the scope, turn the mounting screw counterclockwise until it is free from the
scope.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the Sightmark Spotting Scope, be sure that the eyepiece and objective lens covers have been removed. To
remove the eyepiece cover, simply turn counterclockwise until it comes free from the eyepiece (5). To reattach, simply place
the cover back over the eyepiece and turn clockwise until secure. To remove the objective lens cover, grab it by the edges
and gently pull away from the objective lens (1). To reattach, line up the cover so that it will fit into the corresponding grooves
and place back over the objective lens.
