While this iron was designed for use with tap water, very hard water will reduce the performance of the iron. If your water is very hard, Sunbeam recommends that you use tap water the first time, then consider using demineralized or distilled water for subsequent use. - Página 9 Slide the water reservoir cover open and hold the iron at an angle.
