CONTROLS AND SAFETY FEATURES

6.1

Controls:

Your slicer is fitted as standard with the following controls:
-
A start button that operates the movement of the blades and the movement of the transfer belt
(fig.4, n°29).
-
A stop button (fig.4, n°28).
-
Two emergency stop buttons (fig.4, n°23,25).
-
A belt transfer speed setting potentiometer (fig.4, n°30).
-
A start and stop button for the blower-bagger (FLD) (fig.4, n°27).
-
Two buttons to set top transfer belt height (fig.4, n°26).
-
A slicing time meter (fig.4, n°24).
-
A lever that clears the last loaf from the blades (fig.4, n°21).
-
A side guide setting crank (fig.4, n°20).
-
A transfer belt reverse button (fig.4, n°22).
6.2

Work area:

The loading area is at the rear of the machine (fig.3, n°16).
The setting area is located on the front left-hand side of the machine (fig.3, n°17,18).
The delivery area is at the front of the machine (fig.3, n°18).
6.3

Safety features:

This machine is equipped with:
Two emergency stops that shut down the machine when pressed (fig.4, n°23,25).
An encoded magnetic sensor located on the front door that stops the machine when the door
is open (fig.13, n°35).

OPERATION

Braked castors must be locked while the machine is in operation (fig.1, n°6).
Switch on the power to the machine at the start of the day using the emergency stops
(fig.4, n°23,25).
Operating procedure (fig.5,6)
A. Set the loading ramp guides using the thumbscrews (optional), set the infeed belt guides using
the setting crank located on the left-hand side to adjust them to the length of the loaves to be
sliced and set the outfeed belt guides if your machine is fitted with a motorised outfeed belt
(FMD).
B. Set the loaf holder using the buttons (fig.4, n°26) to adjust it to the height of the loaves to be
sliced.
C. Load the loaves onto the loading ramp (optional) or onto the infeed belt.
D. Press the green button to start the machine; the blades will start up and the belts will start
moving. Set the belt travel speed using the potentiometer (fig.4, n°30).
E. When the last loaf goes into the blades, operate the last loaf pusher lever to push it out of the
blades. Collect the loaves on the outfeed table (FLD) or on the outfeed belt (FMD).
