Operation
The sampler can be used together with various
analysis systems. This section describes how the
various systems are used together with the
sampler.
Warning
The responsible body shall be made
aware that, if the equipment is used in
a manner not specified by the
manufacturer, the protection
provided by the equipment may be
impaired.

or use of safety parts not authorized

Connecting Analysis Sys-
tems
The connector cable with which you will connect
the sampler to the analyzer is usually delivered
together with the analysis system.

8.3.3
Setting the Analysis
Configuration
On the rear of the sampler there is a switch
marked "Mode". The "Mode" switch is a
hexadecimal switch with which you can select
various functions for the sampler, such as
different numbers of sample cups or set it up to
different analysis systems, see Fig. 8:2.
The "F" switch is a neutral position to be used
when the sampler is to be transported or inspected
by service personnel. You can change the position
of the switch using a small screwdriver. Use the
table below to select the appropriate mode of
operation:

The
8.3.4
Starting the Sampler
Connect the mains cable to the wall socket and
start the sampler by pressing the mains switch on
the rear. The green LED at the front lights up
when the power is on. The sample probe will
automatically move to the wash bottle if it
accidentally moved out of this position.
8.3.5
Operation
Use the table in section 8.3.3 Setting the Analysis
Configuration, to set up the mode switch in the
desired position. Remember to restart the sampler
for a change to take effect. Usually the PC
software of the different analysis systems include
a functional or diagnostic test of the sampler, if
you wish to check it further.
8.4
Instructions for cleaning
Clean unit and sample racks using a mild
detergent.
