1 General
1.1 Introduction
This manual contains material for the 5027 Sampler Unit.
1.2 Warranty Statement
In the agreements below, FOSS Analytical AB is mentioned as "the Seller". Infor-
mation in this manual is subject to change without prior notice.
Terms of Limited Warranty
All FOSS Analytical products are warranted against defects in materials and work-
manship under normal use in accordance with FOSS Analytical terms of sale. The
foregoing warrant shall not apply to defects resulting from improper or inadequate
maintenance, adjustment, calibration or operation by Buyer.
The warranty period is one year for replacements parts. The warranty period be-
comes effective at installation or 3 months from date of shipment, whichever occurs
first. No other warranty is expressed or implied.
FOSS Analytical AB further guarantees that the goods have been thoroughly
checked and tested before shipment and that they are free of mechanical and electri-
cal defects. Should defects due to faulty material or workmanship develop during the
WARRANTY PERIOD, parts will be supplied on a no-charge basis in accordance
with FOSS Analytical terms of sale (except for expendable materials).
In no event will FOSS Analytical AB or its agents be liable for any consequential,
incidental or indirect damages arising out of the use or inability to use the 5027 Sam-
pler Unit. The 5027 Sampler Unit should only be used as described in this manual.
Modifications, alterations, rebuilding or use of parts not authorized by FOSS Analyt-
ical AB violate the warranty. FOSS Analytical AB cannot be held responsible for
damage to property or injury to persons occurring as a result of such use or actions.
The Seller accepts no contingent liability and shall in no event be liable for conse-
quential damages.

Safety Precautions

Warning
This device is equipped with a grounding/earthing type power plug for
your protection against electrical shock hazard and should only be at-
tached to a properly grounded/earthed receptacle.

Before replacing the fuses, disconnect incoming mains supply.

Electrical shock hazard. Covers or panel(s) should be removed by quali-
fied personnel only.
Warning
The responsible body shall be made aware that, if the equipment is used
in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided
by the equipment may be impaired.
