PLAYBACK OF VCDs
WHAT IS A VCD?
Like DVD's, the Video CD (VCD) contains images and sound.
Unlike the DVD, the VCD is coded in a different format and does
not contain as much information as a DVD. Also, the image
quality is not as good as with a DVD. VCD's can have more than
one title. Each title is divided in tracks (similar to the chapters
that are used in order to divide sections on DVD's)
VIDEO CD MENU
A Video CD is capable of displaying menus much like DVD's.
However, not all Video CD's have a menu.
The menu's information and the Video CD's information vary
from disc to disc. Check the instructions that accompany the
disc for more information.
If the screen displays a menu:
1. Use the numeric buttons on your remote control in order to
select the track you wish to view.
2. Use the PREVIOUS CHAPTER and NEXT CHAPTER buttons
on your remote control in order to change tracks.
3. Press the STOP button on your remote control in order to stop
playback and return to the menu.
