B. Jar assembly
•
Remove the lid, turn the glass jar (A) upside down
and place it on a fl at surface.
•
Place the rubber seal (B) over the round opening on
the bottom of the glass jar.
•
Turn the blade assembly (C) upside down and place
the blade end into the opening of the jar. BE VERY
CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING THE BLADE ASSEMBLY
AS IT IS VERY SHARP.
•
Place the locking collar (D) over the blade assembly
and screw it on fi rmly by turning in a clockwise
direction.
N.B. The locking collar has safety interlock switches that
prevent the appliance from running if the jar assembly is
not fi tted properly.
•
When all the parts are assembled, turn the jar right
side up.
•
Place the lid on the jar.
•
Insert the measuring cap into the opening in the lid
and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
N.B. The lid must always be in place on the appliance
when it is running.
•
Carefully place the jar on the motor housing.
Improper positioning could result in damage to the
safety interlock switches.
Note: the jar can be fi tted onto the motor housing in
4 diff erent positions. The handle may face left or right,
depending on your preferences.

Plug the appliance in. Your blender is now ready for
use.

C. Dismantling the jar

Turn off the appliance and unplug from the mains.
•
Lift the jar from the motor housing to remove (careful
not to unscrew the jar from the locking collar while it

is on the motor housing).
•
Turn the measuring cap in an anticlockwise direction
and remove from the lid.
•
Remove the lid.
•
To clean the jar, turn it upside down and place on a
fl at surface. Unscrew the locking collar by turning in
an anticlockwise direction.
•
Carefully remove the blade. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN
HANDLING THE BLADE ASSEMBLY AS IT IS VERY
SHARP.
•
Remove the rubber seal.
N.B. Careful not to lose this part as it is necessary for
proper operation of the appliance and its watertightness.
