• Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
• Do not handle the appliance barefoot
• Never pull the power cord to unplug the appliance: hold the plug
directly and pull
• Do not let the appliance be used unsupervised by children or those
otherwise incapable of safe use
12. Avoid improper use of extension cords or gang sockets.
13. Do not modify the product in any way as this could compromise
its safety.
14. Keep the connections dry.
15. Never immerse the appliance in water.
16. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before long pe-
riods of disuse.
17. The level of the water tank must never be allowed to exceed the
"MAX" mark. During humidification, the water must never go be-
low the "MIN" mark.
18. Do not cover the air intakes.
19. Always unplug the appliance before performing maintenance of
any kind.
20. In the event of faults or malfunctions, contact an authorised Tech-
nical Support Centre, and insist on the use of original spare parts.
OPERATION
Hot air is drawn into the interior of the evaporator, passing through the hon-
eycomb filters. Water is pumped from the tank and passes through these
filters, naturally absorbing heat from the air and therefore cooling and hu-
midifying it.
At this point, the fan diffuses the cool air generated by this process into the
environment.
