Fitting instructions

When you receive your BORT Generation Back brace, the front fastener
is closed. Open it fully.

Place the back brace around the torso so that the upper parts of the
plastic elements are positioned above the iliac crest.

Close the BORT Generation Back brace applying very little force, using
the attached hand straps.

To close the BORT Generation Back brace fully, slip it into the hand
straps and pull the pulleys forwards evenly, applying very little force.

Following this, attach the hand straps to the velour using the micro
Velcro provided. In order to avoid strangulation, the brace should not
be closed too tightly. Within the course of this fitting process, the BORT
Generation Back brace is fully fitted to the anatomy and interlocks.

If the lower edge of the brace ends with the hip-bend when sitting, the
brace is correctly positioned.
