14. Repairs
If you experience problems when using, follow the instructions below for solving:
The LCD cannot display the data.
If the body temperature is below 32.0 degrees Celsius or above 43.0 degrees Celsius,
no data is shown on the screen. Only "LO" or "HI" is displayed
LCD display "HI"
This means that the temperature
is above 43.0 degrees Celsius.
LCD display "LO"
This means that the temperature
is below 32.0 degrees Celsius
There are several reasons as to why "LO" and "HI" are displayed as reference:
Reason for "Lo" or "HI"
Influenced by hair or sweat
Wind
Distance too far
With strong changes in temperature
(e.g. when moving from indoors to
outdoors)

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All
tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling
centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the
environment.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose battery in household waste.
Batteries should be disposed of in a responsible manner, they must be
disposed at appropriate collection point.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the
EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Contact your
local solid waste authority for recycling information or give the product for
disposal to BGS technic KG or to an electrical appliances retailer.

Reduce the distance (1 cm - 3 cm)
Please wait 20 minutes until the body has adapted to the
new temperature.
