3 insErting battEriEs (rEmotE control)
3A Unscrew (2G) and remove the cover (2F).
3B Insert 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries and pay attention to the polarity
specifications, as indicated in the battery compartment.
3C Close the battery compartment cover and screw in the locking
screw (2G) clockwise.
4 charging thE modEl
Attention: The battery and motor must cool down for about
15–30 minutes before charging and after every flight. Otherwise
they can be damaged. The charging process must be constantly
monitored. Always ensure that the charging process takes place
on a fireproof surface in a fire-resistant environment.
4A Switch off the model (1C) and the remote control (2C) for
charging.
4B Insert the USB charger in an activated USB hub or similar port
with at least 500 mAh of output power.
4C Plug the charge cable of the USB charger into the charging
connection (1B) of the model; the groove of the charger plug
must face downwards.
• D O NOT USE FORCE. If the charger plug is not correctly inserted
into the charging connection, the battery may become damaged
and, under certain circumstances, cause injury.
• T he status LED on the charger will light up red when charging
begins.
• T he charging process lasts approx. 30 minutes and must be
continuously monitored. The LED on the charger goes out as
soon as the charging process is finished.
• D isconnect the model from the charger and disconnect the
charger from USB hub once charging is completed.
The model can fly for approx. 5–7 minutes after a charge
time of approx. 30 minutes.
Warning notice: The battery does not normally heat up while
charging. If it should become warm or even hot and/or changes
to the surface begin to appear, immediately discontinue the
charging process!

5 start prEparation
The model must be switched on first in order to connect it to the
remote control. For this purpose, switch the ON/OFF switch on
the model (1C) to ON. Then place the model on an even, flat and
stable surface.
The control for thrust and rotation (2A) must point down (5B)
before the remote control is switched on. To switch on the remote
control, set the ON/OFF switch (2C) to ON and push the control
for thrust and rotation (2G) briefly all the way up and then back
down again. After approx. 3 seconds, the model activates and is
ready for use.
Once you have finished flying, switch the model off first and then
the remote control.
6 calibration oF thE gyro
Sometimes the model may no longer fly straight for some reason -
the electronic stabilisation system (gyro) has lost its neutral position.
In order to ensure that the model floats straight, the gyro must
be recalibrated. For this purpose, you switch the model off, then
on again, and repeat the switch-on procedure as described under
number 5. Attention: The model must be absolutely straight and
the control for thrust and rotation (2C) may only be pushed briefly
forwards and back, wherein the rotors may not rotate. Now move
the control for thrust and rotation (2A) to the right and down while
simultaneously moving the control for forwards/backwards and
banking (2B) repeatedly from side to side. If the calibration is com-
pleted, the status LEDs (1D) on the model flicker briefly.
