4.3
Install pressure line
1. Fasten the pressure line (04/1) to the pump
outlet.
2. Open all shut-off devices (valves, spray noz-
zles, water cock) in the pressure line.
5 START-UP
5.1
Fill the pump
IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the
pump! Dry running will destroy the pump!
■
The pump must be filled with water up to the
overflow before each use so that it can draw
water immediately.
NOTE Fill the suction hose with water be-
fore screwing in place to reduce the suction time.
1. Open the filling screw (01-03/2).
2. Pour in water through the filling screw until
the pump housing (01-03/6) is full.
3. Screw in the filling screw.
5.2
Checking the air pressure in the storage
vessel (HW 3600)
IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the
pump! The pump may only be operated with a
diaphragm storage pressure of 1.5 - 1.7 bar in
the storage vessel. Other diaphragm storage
pressures can cause equipment damage.
■
Check the air pressure at the valve on the
back of the storage vessel before commis-
sioning.
1. Open the shut-off device in the pressure line
(04/1).
2. Unscrew the cover (07/1) on the rear of the
storage vessel (03/10)
3. Check the air pressure at the valve (07/2) us-
ing an air pump or tyre filler equipped with a
pressure gauge.
4. Correct the air pressure to 1.5 - 1.7 bar, if
necessary.
5. Close the valve cover on the rear of the stor-
age vessel again.
6. Putting the pump into operation.

Switching the pump on
JET 3600
IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the
pump! A closed pressure line can result in dam-
age to the pump!
■
Do not allow the pump to run against a
closed pressure line.
1. Open all shut-off devices (valve, spray noz-
zle, water cock) in the pressure line (04/1).
2. Insert the plug of the mains cable into the
power socket.
3. Switch on the pump at the on / off switch.
HW 3600
1. Open all shut-off devices (valve, spray noz-
zle, water cock) in the pressure line (04/01).
2. Insert the plug of the mains cable into the
power socket. The pumps starts to pump.
3. Close the shut-off device in the pressure line
when there are no more air bubbles in the es-
caping water.
■
The pump switches off automatically after
building up the pressure and reaching the
switch-off pressure.
■
The pump is ready for operation.
HWA 3600
1. Open all shut-off devices (valve, spray noz-
zle, water cock) in the pressure line (04/1).
2. Insert the plug of the mains cable into the
power socket. The pumps starts to pump.
■
Pump draws for three minutes.
■
Pump switches off for 30 seconds if no
water pumping is possible.
