Flushing the pump
After conveying swimming pool water containing
chlorine or fluids that leave residues, the pump
must be flushed out with clear water.
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting. The pump
stops automatically.
2. Flush the pump with clear water.
The pump can now be put into operation again.
8.3
Clean the filter
1. Unscrew the pump drain plug (01-03/8), drain
the filter chamber and screw in the drain plug
again.
2. Unscrew the lid (05/4). If necessary, insert a
suitable tool into the recesses of the filter
bowl provided for this purpose.
3. Remove the filter (05/8) from the pump hous-
ing (01-03/6) and clean under running water.
4. Clean the filter housing and filter lid.
5. Before installing the filter, check the seal
(05/5) for damage and replace if necessary.
6. Install the filter, screw on the transparent filter
cover and tighten finger-tight.

Cleaning the check valve
1. Remove the filter (see Section "Cleaning the
filter").
2. Unscrew the check valve (05/6) and clean
under running water.
3. Replace the seal (05/7) if necessary.
4. Fit the check valve.
5. Install the filter.

Cleaning the flowmeter (HWA 3600)
1. Unscrew the pressure line (04/1).
2. Unscrew the screw-in nipple (05/1) with seal
(05/2). Pull out and clean the flowmeter
(05/3).

Note the installation position of the flow-
meter.
3. Replace the flowmeter again – noting the in-
stallation position.

Remove blockages
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting.
2. Disconnect the suction line from the pump in-
let.
3. Connect pressure line to the water line.
4. Allow water to run through the pump housing
until the blockage is removed.
5. Switch on the pump briefly to check that it
runs smoothly.

Disconnect the mains plug before starting
any fault remedying work.

Faults in the electrical system must be recti-
fied by a qualified electrician.
