Make sure the nozzle insert and the detachable nozzle are dry before
you reattach them to the appliance.

Reattach the dust compartment to the body of the vacuum cleaner
('click').

Replace the inner HEPA filter if it can no longer be cleaned properly
(usually after it has been cleaned about 50 times).
You can buy new HEPA filters from authorised Philips service centres.

Take the filter unit out of the dust compartment (Fig. 22).
Turn the outer filter anticlockwise (1) and remove it from the filter
holder () (Fig. ).
Gently turn the inner HEPA filter anticlockwise (1) and remove it
from the filter holder (2) (Fig. 24).
Place a new inner HEPA filter on the filter holder (1) and turn the
HEPA filter clockwise to fix it. (Fig. 26).

Place the outer filter back onto the filter holder (1) and turn the
outer filter clockwise to fix it (2) (Fig. 27).

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste
at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for
recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 29).

The built-in rechargeable battery pack contains substances that may
pollute the environment. Always remove the battery pack before you
discard and hand in the appliance at an official collection point.
Dispose of the battery pack at an official collection point for batteries.
If you have trouble removing the battery pack, you can also take the
appliance to a Philips service centre. The staff of this centre will
remove the battery pack for you and will dispose of it in an
environmentally safe way.
