Installing PMLN8309 and PMLN8310

Perform the following steps when installing the PMLN8309 and PMLN8310 Vehicular Cradle with
Vehicular Power Module Kit.
Procedure:
1 Secure the Vehicular Power Module onto the bottom of the cradle pocket by screwing the jack
screw onto the insert nut.
IMPORTANT: Do not connect the power cable to the cradle until the power cable is fully
installed.

Power Cable Installation
This installation procedure is applicable to PMLN8309 and PMLN8310 Vehicular Cradle with Vehicular
Power Module Kit only.
The PMLN8309 and PMLN8310 Vehicular Cradle with Vehicular Power Module Kit supports 12/24
VDC vehicular batteries only.
The Vehicular Cradle Kit power cable is equipped with 5-Ampere fuse for battery positive terminal and
1-Ampere fuse for ignition.
NOTE: Verify that the vehicle electrical system can support current values larger than the fuse
ratings.
