The fuse in the red wire must be connected to the power source by using the shortest practical length.
The Vehicular Cradle Kit is only for use with a negative ground system.

Installing Power Cable
CAUTION: Before proceeding, remove the fuse from the power cable red and blue (ignition)
wires. Before making any connection, tape them to their respective fuse holders. Do not insert
fuses until all connections have been made and carefully inspected.
