NOTE:
The safety contact pin must be depressed before the trigger
is squeezed.
Contact Firing Mode
(Fig. D 2)
Good for quick and convenient firing.
• Hold handle of power tool firmly with magazine at 90° angle to the
work piece.
• Push the single/contact firing switch to the right Contact Firing
Mode is now activated.
• Squeeze the trigger, keep squeezing and do not release.
• Press the safety contact pin against the work piece to fire the
staple/nail.
• Keep squeezing the trigger, lift power tool from work piece to
release the safety contact pin after firing.
• Press the safety contact pin onto the work piece to recommence
firing.
NOTE:
The trigger must be kept squeezed at all times while the
safety contact pin is depressed. Do not keep the trigger depressed
when the power tool is not in use to prevent accidental firing.
Adjusting the Depth
(Fig. E)
The driving depth of the nails can be set with the depth adjustment
wheel (12).
• Nails are not driven in deep enough: To increase the driving
depth, turn depth adjustment wheel to the left.
or
• Nails are driven in too deeply: To reduce the driving depth, turn
the depth adjustment wheel to the right.
• Test the new driving depth on a test workpiece. Repeat steps
above as required.
Clearing Jams
(Fig. F)
NOTE:
You must remove any jammed staples or nails before using
the tool any further. If you continue to try and fire a fastener while the
tool is jammed, you could cause damage to the mechanism.
• Tilt the tool and remove any unused staples/nails in magazine
channel, this should clear the jammed fastener(s).
• If the fastener(s) remain jammed after following the above
instructions. Unscrew the 4 hex bolts on the nosepiece plate with
the wrench provided and remove the plate. Set the hex bolts to
one side.
• Repeat for the second nosepiece plate and remove this too. Set
these hex bolts to one side too. Note: the hex bolts for the second
plate are different sizes to the hex bolts for the top plate, so keep
separate.
• With both nose plates removed you will see the jammed
fastener(s). Remove using a pair of pliers if necessary.
• Re-assemble the nosepiece plates and re-tighten the hex bolts, do
not over tighten.
• Refill the magazine.
• Fire a few test fasteners to ensure tool is working properly.
NOTE:
If staples or nails become jammed in the nosepiece
frequently, have the tool serviced by a Tacwise Engineer or appointed
service agent.
Maintenance
Your Tacwise Power Tool has been designed to operate over a
long period of time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous
satisfactory operating depends upon proper tool care and
regular cleaning.

If the machine should fail despite the care taken in manufacturing and
testing procedures, repair should be carried out by a Tacwise Service
Engineer or appointed Service Agent. In all correspondence and
spare parts order, please always include the serial number given on
this machine.
Cleaning
• Remove battery before cleaning the housing with a soft cloth.
• Keep the ventilation slots clear and regularly clean.
• Clean the magazine (8). Remove any debris that may accumulate
in the magazine during operation.
Lubrication
This tool requires no lubrication. Do not lubricate the tool, as it will
damage the internal parts.

Transport
The contained lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dangerous
Goods Legislation requirements. The user can transport the batteries
by road without further requirements.
When being transported by third parties (e.g. air transport or
forwarding agency), special requirements on packaging and labelling
must be observed. For preparation of the item being shipped,
consulting an expert for hazardous material is required. Dispatch
batteries only when the housing is undamaged. Tape or mask off
open contacts and pack up the battery in such a manner that it
cannot move around in the packaging. Please also observe possibly
more detailed national regulations.

Unwanted Tools
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing them as waste. All
tools and packaging should be sorted, taken to the local recycling
centre and disposed of in an environmentally safe way. Alternatively,
please email service@tacwise.com for details on how to dispose
of your Tacwise power tool free of charge in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Battery Disposal
Follow your Local Authority procedures for the disposal of Lithium-Ion
battery packs.
