Battery Charging

Use only the battery charger that comes with the product. Only
the battery charger that is matched to the lithium ion battery should
be used in your machine.
• Insert the battery pack into the charger, aligning the contacts.
Push battery until it clicks into place. Plug the charger into a
power socket. The indicator light on the charger will be red
(battery is charging).
• When battery is fully charged (appox. 1-1.5hrs) the indicator on
the charger will turn green.
• The battery is now ready to use. Remove the charger from the
power socket and remove the battery pack from the charger.
NOTE:
The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full
capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the battery
charger before using your power tool for the first time. The lithium ion
battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life.
Interrupting the charging procedure does not damage the battery.
A battery does not develop its full capacity until after approximately
5 charge/discharge cycles.
The battery is equipped with an NTC temperature control which
allows charging only within a temperature range of between 0°C and
40°C. A long battery service life is achieved in this manner. Observe
the notes for "battery disposal".
LED Functions of Battery Charger
• Red LED on = charging/battery low.
• Green LED on = battery fully charged.
