EN
This ELITE hometrainer includes an integrated sensor that sends speed, power and cadence data. The hometrainer sends data using both Bluetooth and ANT+ protocols.
Many devices (smartphones, tablets, cycle computers, GPS devices and so on) use Blueooth Smart and ANT+ to display data – please check your hometrainer compa-
tibility with the device.
To display data sent via ANT+ you need to have an ANT+ GPS device / cycle computer compatible with the "ANT+ Speed & Cadence" protocol (
Power" protocol (
).
A list of devices compatible with one or more of these protocols is available at the ANT+ website (http://www.thisisant.com/directory/).
In order to read speed and/or cadence data with a Bluetooth Smart Ready GPS device / cycle computer, the device must be compatible with the "Speed & Cadence"
profile for the Bluetooth Smart protocol. In order to display power data, the Bluetooth Smart Ready cycle computer / GPS device must be compatible with the "Power"
profile for the Bluetooth Smart protocol.
TRAINING
We suggest using the Turbo Muin Smart B+ with the ELITE My E-Training app, specifically developed for smartphones and tablets, though it's also possible to use it with
other apps compatible with the ANT+ and / or Bluetooth Smart protocols. Moreover, there are several next gen cycle computers / GPS devices compatible with the ANT+
protocol so they can display data sent by the Turbo Muin Smart B+ without using an app.
You need to set wheel circumference on the device to calculate speed properly. The circumference to set refers to your bike's wheel, even if you remove it to use the
hometrainer.
This value changes depending on if you're using the My E-Training app or another app / device.
With My E-Training you need to set wheel circumference (i.e.: 2095mm).
If you're using a different app or device the value to set is:
For instance, with 2095 mm wheel circumference the value to set is 2095 / 13.2 = 159 mm
NOTE:
- An incorrect hometrainer set-up might cause inaccurate power data.
- To save energy, the sensor turns off automatically after a few minutes of inactivity. Start pedalling to reactivate it.
- Cadence from the hometrainer is the result of a calculation and to obtain precise data your bike's chain needs to be properly tensed. That's why there are some cir-
cumstances (for instance with low gears) where the value might not be absolutely precise.
- The hometrainer sends data via both Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ protocols but you can't use them both concurrently. Switching between protocols requires a wait for
the internal Misuro sensor to enter low energy consumption mode (after having been inactive for 5 minutes). The new protocol can be activated by simply pedaling and
the pairing procedure can then begin.
- The roller is not waterproof. Please be careful of sweat and do not use abrasive cleaners, as both may damage the electronic circuit.
- Do not store the roller in a wet or damp environment that could damage its electronic components.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the app is displaying incorrect data, try to re-set the sensor as follows:
1) Open up the Turbo Muin Smart B+ housing (Pic. 1) and remove the sensor.
2) Slide the sensor cover sideways to open it. Place the battery in the appropriate housing (Pic. 2) and press the button close to the battery holder once. Wait for the
led light to light up and repeat the operation until the led light blinks 12 times (Pic. 3). 12 blinks indicate that the sensor has been properly paired with the hometrainer.
3) Place the sensor back inside the Turbo Muin Smart B+ housing (Pic. 4).
WARNING: The side of the sensor with the 2 notches must be facing upwards.
4) Replace the battery cover (Pic. 5)
5) Check the circumference value set on app / device. Verify the paragraph "Training" for right set-up.
ATTENTION!
An incorrect blinks value leads to incorrect power data.
An incorrect wheel circumference value leads to incorrect speed data.
The display (app / cycle computer) does not connect to the sensor:
Make sure the pairing process with the display has been properly conducted and start pedalling.
Make sure you pedal on the hometrainer to awaken the system before connecting the display.
Please verify that the battery is charged.
The display reads more than one sensor:
This indicates that two or more sensors are close enough to be read. Try turning off or removing unnecessary sensors and repeat the search process.
CHANGING THE BATTERY
• Open up the hometrainer housing and remove the sensor (Pic. 6)
• Slide the sensor cover sideways to open it. Remove the old battery and replace with a new one with the positive terminal facing upwards (Pic. 6).
• Place the sensor back inside the Turbo Muin Smart B+ housing (Pic. 4).
WARNING: The side of the sensor with the 2 notches must be facing upwards.

• Replace the battery cover (Pic. 5)
