5.2 Installation and connection

CAUTION!
Installation and maintenance of the device should be performed only by qualified
personnel!
•
Unpack the device and remove all packing material.
•
Ensure the protective film is removed completely.
•
Place the device on a flat, safe place that can support its weight and is resistant to
high temperatures.
•
Never place the device on a flammable surface.
•
Do not place the device near a source of open flame, electric ovens, heating ovens
or any other sources of heat.
•
For safety, keep a distance of at least 20 cm from walls and other flammable objects.
WARNING! Risk of fire!
Remember to ensure that no flammable, acidic or base materials are found near the
device. A danger of explosion exists when the device is in use.
•
Place the device in a well-ventilated area.
•
A grounding rod is located at the rear of the device. Connect a grounding cable with a
wire cable (minimum diameter 2 mm²) in accordance with relevant safety regulations.
NOTE!
The device is not designed to be built into kitchen furniture or for serial use.

5.3 Operation

Before first use

•
During first use the device will emit an unpleasant odour caused from the remains of
products such as greases, oils and resins. For this reason you should first set the
empty pizza oven to its highest temperature and leave on for at least 2 hours.
•
Next, leave the device to cool and then clean in accordance with the instructions in
section 6.2 "Cleaning".
•
The device is now ready for use.
