FACTOR automatically calculated after the calibration
carried out (fig. 20).
After the calibration, the litre-counter will return to
standby status (display on) ready to deliver.
NB: One delivery is sufficient to do the calibration.
After delivery, wait a few minutes to
prevent the creation of air bubbles which
can distort the result of the test.
The result can be checked by delivering on the
graduated content without re-entering the calibra-
tion menu.
E2) DIRECT CALIBRATION MODIFYING THE K FACTOR
VALUE
This procedure is particularly useful for correcting an
"average error" obtainable on the basis of many deliv-
eries.
The K FACTOR is also important because it enables restora-
tion of the litre-counter factory-settings in case of a wrong
calibration made by the user.
Example K FACTOR:
Quantity delivered: 1.6 l - 0.42 gal
Quantity shown on the display: 1.52 l - 0.40 gal
K FACTOR =
1.6 / 1.52 l = 1.05
0.42 / 0.40 gal = 1.05
To enter the direct calibration mode, when the display
is like in fig. 21, keep the TOTAL button pressed for 3
seconds. In this way it will be possible to display the
calibration K FACTORs.
The K FACTOR values are:
-FACT: K FACTOR value set by the manufacturer (value
not modifiable)
-USER: K FACTOR value customisable by the user
The display shown will be that shown in figure 22 if a
calibration has never been done or if the factory value
K=1,000 has been reset.
If there has been a calibration (in range or direct) the
display will be that shown in figure 23:
By pressing the RESET button it is possible to display
alternately the two factors present in the memory.
The following 3 actions are accepted inside this menu:
a) K FACTOR value resetting
Proceed as follows:
Display the screen in figure 24
Press and hold down the TOTAL button for a few sec-
onds (3 s) to confirm and return to the standby mode.
Each time the FACT value is reset, the USER value set by
the user will be automatically cancelled.

Le display affichera de manière alternée en clignotant
pendant 4 s les inscriptions CAL et END en affichant éga-
lement au cours de cette phase le nouveau K FACTOR cal-
culé automatiquement après le calibrage effectué (fig. 20).
Après le calibrage le compte-litres reviendra à la condi-
tion de stand-by (display allumé) prêt à refouler.
N.B. un seul refoulement est suffisant pour effectuer
le calibrage.
Après avoir terminé le refoulement
attendre quelques minutes pour éviter
la formation d'éventuelles bulles d'air qui
peuvent fausser le résultat de l'essai.
On peut vérifier le résultat en allant refouler sur le
contenu gradué sans rentrer dans le menu de calibrage.
E2) CALIBRAGE DIRECT EN MODIFIANT LA VALEUR
K FACTOR
Cette procédure est particulièrement utile pour corriger
une "erreur moyenne" pouvant être obtenue sur la base
de nombreux refoulements.
Le K FACTOR est par ailleurs important parce qu'il permet
de rétablir le compte-litres aux valeurs d'usine en présence
d'un calibrage erroné effectué par l'utilisateur.
Ex. K FACTOR:
Quantité refoulée: 1,6 l - 0.42 gal
Quantité affichée au display: 1,52 l - 0.40 gal
K FACTOR =
1,6 / 1,52 l = 1,05
0.42 / 0.40 gal = 1,05
Pour entrer dans la modalité de calibrage direct, quand
le display apparait comme sur la fig. 21, garder la touche
TOTAL pressée pendant 3 s. Il sera ainsi possible d'affi-
cher les facteurs K de calibrage
Les valeurs K FACTOR sont:
FACT = valeur K FACTOR établie par le constructeur
(valeur non-modifiable)
USER = valeur K FACTOR personnalisable par l'utilisateur
Le display affiché sera celui de la figure 22 dans le cas
où l'on n'aurait jamais effectué un calibrage ou s'il aurait
été rétabli à la valeur d'usine K=1.000.
Dans le cas où il y aurait eu un calibrage (en champ ou
direct) l'affichage sera celui de la figure 23; avec des
pressions sur la touche RESET on peut afficher alterna-
tivement les deux facteurs présents dans la mémoire.
A l'intérieur de ce menu 3 actions sont acceptées:
a) Rétablissement de la valeur K FACTOR
Procéder de la façon suivante:
Afficher la page écran de la figure 24
Presser sans le relâcher le bouton TOTAL pendant
quelques secondes (3 s) pour confirmer et revenir à la
