7. Depth Gauge
WARNING
• ALWAYS place the direction-of-rotation selector
(D) in the center-lock position when not using
the tool, cleaning, or making adjustments.
Failure to do so could result in accidental
starting which can cause serious personal injury.
• The rotary hammer is equipped with a depth
gauge (H) to set the drill depth when using the
tool.
a. Remove the battery from tool.
b. Press the clamp button on the auxiliary handle
(G), then insert the depth gauge through the
hexagonal hole in handle. Make sure that the side with ribs are facing downward.
c. Adjust the depth gauge to the desired position and then release the clamp button. The
depth gauge will be secured in the position.
8. Installing and Removing the Belt Clip
a. Align the rib of the belt clip (I) with the hole on
the base of the rotary hammer.
b. Insert the screw (J) and tighten the screw
securely with a Phillips screwdriver (not
included).
c. To remove the belt clip, use a Phillips
screwdriver to loosen the screw holding the
belt clip to the rotary hammer.
