ATTENTION: If the appliance is not going to be used for
more than 3 weeks, empty the cold/heat exchanger,
disconnect the water inlet and unplug it from the power
grid.
Before using the appliance again, a sanitization should be
performed prior water consumption.

7. SANITIZING

Necessary materials:
• Manual valve.
• Measuring housing and connectors.
• Hydrogen peroxide (0.5 l).
• Disposable vinyl gloves.
• Strips to detect hydrogen peroxide.
The appliance must be sanitized when necessary during start-
up, (whenever there is a risk of contaminating the appliance due
to the manipulation of components in con¬tact with water) or
within the indicated frequency. To do so, follow the instructions
below:
Warning: Water used during the sanitizing process must be drin-
king water from the public network and comply with the corres-
ponding drinking quality requirements from RD 140/2003, EU
Directive 98/83 or the local regulations in force.
1. Disconnect the inlet tube of the system marked as "feed-en-
trada" and place the dosage housing between the water inlet
and the inlet of the equipment (8). For an easier and more com-
fortable access during the sanitizing process and the opening
and closing of the inlet valve, a manual valve in the closed po-
sition can be placed along with the sanitizing dosage housing.
This valve will work as the ma¬nual inlet valve of the system.
2. Once the set has been installed, keep the new manual inlet
valve closed and open the inlet valve that is connected to the
wall adaptor (9). The dosage housing must be empty.
3. Pour 0.5 litres of hydrogen peroxide in the dosage housing
placed at the equipment's inlet (10). Screw the housing's cap
properly to the vessel.
4. Open the inlet valve and let the equipment start working so
it will absorb the hydrogen peroxide. Keep the inlet valve in this
position until water begins to flow from the outlet.
5. Close the inlet valve and let the sanitizing product work for
15 minutes.
6. Open the water supply and let the water rinse the hydraulic
circuit for 1 minute. Repeat until there's no hydrogen peroxide
left inside. Hydrogen peroxide presence can be determined with
the use of the hydrogen peroxide detection strips.

8. SELF-TAPPING SADDLE VALVE

Contains:
• Self-piercing tap valve and clamp for 3/8" to 1" O.D. copper or
3/8" to 3/4" iron pipe or PVS/CPVC pipe.
• Plastic sleeve, compression nut and brass insert(for reinforcing
PE tubing).
Tools required:
• Screwdriver and wrench.
• For Iron, PVC or CPVC pipe a drill with 3/16" bit.
Installation instructions:
1. Turn water supply off.
2. Connect one end of tubing to water inlet of appliance with
compression nut, sleeve and brass insert. If your appliance has
open tubing use brass sleeve or use plastic sleeve with brass in-
sert to reinforce polyethylene tubing. Be sure to remove brass
compression sleeve from union or other connection and insert
plastic sleeve when connecting compression union to polye-
thylene tube, do not forget the brass insert for polyethylene
tubing. Excess tubing may remain coiled behind appliance to
allow for moving or cleaning.
3. Open tap valve by turning handle counter clockwise until pier-
cing tip is retracted into the body of the valve (failure to do this
will break the tip during installation).
4. Make sure black washer is secured under the top clamp.
5. Place one bolt into bottom clamp with one or two turns.
6. Position top clamp on nearest cold watter supply line. Rota-
te bottom clamp under supply line (fig. 2). Tighten both bolts
evenly (fig. 3).
ATTENTION: if supply line is copper tube then please dis-
regard steps 7 and 8.
7. Make sure water is turned off. Drill 3/16" hole in pipe.
