9. LEAK SHUT-OFF VALVE

The Leak shut-off valve is a re-usable mechanic leakage protector. When the pad detects water leakage, the valve operates and
shuts down the feed water. It can be easily re-used by changing to a new pad.

Part identification
1) Upper Body
• Connection type: 1/4" fitting (IN) – 1/4" fitting (OUT).
• Diaphragm type normally open valve.
• Feed water stops when the tip of the loading plunger blocks the pilot hole.
2) Spring
• The valve only activates if the expanding pressure of the wet pad is more
powerful than the spring tension.
• It is rarely influenced by atmospheric humidity.
3) Pad
• Made of compressed paper.
• It expands when in contact with water.

• Fixed to the bottom of machine by screw (ф4.0) or adhesive tape as in-
cluded.
How to replace the expanded pad

Very easy and simple. Any tool is needed.
1) Pull the upper cover upward and separate it
from the lower body.

2) Take out the expanded pad.
3) Assemble the spare pad in the pad case.
4) Insert the pad case in to the lower body.
5) Push the upper cover downward and unite
with the lower body.
