This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply socket if it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Don't immerse the jug or the motor unit in liquid.

If you overfill, boiling liquids may be ejected.

Use the jug only with the motor unit supplied (and vice versa).

Don't operate the appliance if it's damaged or malfunctions.

ASSEMBLY
IMPORTANT: If either the lid or jug is incorrectly fitted the unit will not work. Removing the jug or the lid
will cut power from the motor and heater and the 2 light will go out. Replacing them will reconnect the
power, but will not restart the program.
1.
Lower the jug on to the motor unit and press down till it clicks into place (it will only fit one way).
2.
To fit the lid, hook the front of the lid over the jug spout (Fig. A).

Lower the lid and press down on the back of the lid until the lid lock clicks outwards (fig. B).
4.
Fit the cup into the hole in the lid. The cup is marked at 30ml and 60ml. Don't use the appliance
without the cup because ingredients may be ejected through the hole.
5.
To remove the lid, press the lid lock in and raise the back of the lid upwards until you can lift it off the
jug.
6.
To remove the jug, squeeze the jug lock inwards and lift the jug off the motor unit.
FILLING
1.
Switch the appliance to standby, remove the jug from the motor unit and remove the lid from the jug.
2.
The inside of the jug is marked MAX (1.75 litres) for cold ingredients, and SOUP MAX (1.4 litres) for hot
liquids that will expand when heated

To add ingredients while the appliance is working, remove the cup, add the ingredients through the
hole in the lid, then replace the cup. Check that the contents don't rise past the MAX/SOUP MAX
marks.
