Place the pane on a windowpane stand with the inside of the pane facing upwards. Fit the window
seal onto the edge of the pane. A chromium sealing strip is often fed into the seal afterwards.
Aluminium decorative frames, on the other hand, are inserted into the seal before assembling the
pane.
The mounting cord is now inserted, running at least one and a half times around the pane, into the
rubber lip, which is pulled over the window frame. Insert seal and cord using e.g. detergent. Caution:
the mounting cord must show a loop at the top and bottom.
A second person is required for the following work. Place the pane in the window frame and with your
palm apply a little pressure from the outside on the pane. Pull the mounting cord, beginning at the
bottom centre, along vertically to the centre and very close to the pane. The second person should in
the meantime place real pressure on the pane. At the moment when the pane slides inward, the
sealing lip is pulled over the sheet-metal edge. The loop of the mounting cord has to be pulled
upwards so that the pane does not slip upwards. Feed the remainder of the sealing lip and at the
same time tap the pane and seal into their seat from the outside with your palms.

First insert the seal dry circumferentially into the car body.
Now coat the seal thoroughly with e.g. detergent. Coming from above, insert the pane in the lower
part of the seal. A second person must now hold the pane in position. Using the mounting hook, pull
the rubber seal piece by piece outwardly over the pane. This process must be repeated completely
around the pane until the pane is held in the car body opening by the rubber seal over the entire
circumference. The filler sealing strip provides stability and is fed, beginning at the opposite side of
the seam into the groove of the rubber seal.
