Hardware bag (plastic ziplock bag) contains the following:

FIRE RESISTANCE DISCLAIMER:
DOJ-rated for security test and ETL-tested fi re endurance test of 1400 F for 30 minutes
while the internal temperature remains less than 177 C (350 F).
Executive fi re-resistant safes or 16 gun safes are interchangeable by shelf confi guration.
PLEASE NOTE:
Door can be removed to reduce weight when relocating safe.
LOCKSMITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR 16, 24 and 36 GUN SAFE
ACCESSING THE LOCKING MECHANISM:
The locking mechanism can be accessed by removing the fi re-resistant panel located on
the inside of the safe door. It is highly recommended that this be done by a locksmith or
trained technician to avoid serious injury or damage to safe door or locking mechanism.
NOTE: Removing the fi re-resistant panel from the safe door may require help from a sec-
ond person. The fi re-resistant panel is heavy and could cause serious injury or death.
Step 1
While the safe door is open, locate the two holes on either side of the bottom of the door.
Use a tool (like a screwdriver or long bolt as shown in picture) to insert into both holes at
the same time, lifting the fi re-resistant panel from the door frame. This step may require the
aid of a second person to pull the panel out of the door frame while it is being lifted from the
bottom. Once the panel is removed store it in a safe location so that it does not get
