- Do not use for more than 3 minutes in continuous operation. Wait for a few minutes before
starting your appliance again after 3 minutes of uninterrupted operation.
- Do not put accessories in a microwave oven and do not sterilise them
- Do not let long hair, scarves, ties, etc. hang over accessories when in operation
- Always use the mixer jug with its lid fitted.

Safety precautions

When blending solid ingredients, first cut them into pieces 2 centimetres long maximum.
Always pour liquid ingredients into the glass jug first before adding solid ingredients without
exceeding the maximum level indicated:
- 1.5 l for thick mixes
- 1.25 l for liquid preparations
To add ingredients once mixing has started, remove the measuring cap from the lid and
introduce them through the filling hole in the lid.
If ingredients remain stuck to the sides of the jug during mixing, stop the appliance and
disconnect it.
Remove the mixer jug assembly from the body of the appliance.
Use a spatula to bring the preparation down onto the knife. NEVER put hands or fingers into
the glass jug or close to the blade.

Before use

Before using your KRUPS blender for the first time, clean the lid, the jug, the measuring cap
and crusher accessory (according to model) with warm soapy water to remove any dust left by
the packaging.
Rinse and dry them thoroughly.
Never immerse the body of the appliance and never put it under running water.
Instructions for use
Assembling the glass jug:
- Fit the silicone seal to the bottom of the plastic base. Place the glass jug on its base and
screw in a quarter turn (1, 2, 3).
- Place the assembled glass jug on the body of the appliance (4). Two positions are available,
either handle to the right or handle to the left.
- The base fits the body of the appliance perfectly. You do not need to force or turn it to
position it correctly.
Make certain that the glass jug is correctly screwed into its base.
Note: To ensure maximum safety, the base alone cannot run the appliance. For
operation, the glass jug must first be assembled.
Bringing into service
- Put all the ingredients into the glass jug. For a more even mix, first introduce the liquid ingre-
dients and run the KRUPS blender briefly before introducing solid ingredients.
- Place the lid on the jug and lock it ...
- Always be sure to fit the lid before running the blender. Connect the appliance. Press the
button corresponding to the desired function to start the appliance. You can change the
function while in use without having to stop the appliance just by pressing the button for the
new function you desire. To add ingredients during blending, remove the measuring cap on
the lid and introduce the ingredients through the filling hole.
In case of leak, check that the gasket is not up side down.
