Dash Disassembly
Sub dash modifications
1. Remove the (3) screws inside the
cavity from behind the factory
radio (these will not be used
again). (Figure A)
2. Cut and remove the plastic from
the factory radio cavity without
cutting the areas supporting the
factory radio mounting holes.
(Shaded area in Figure A)
3. Using a pry tool, bend the metal
bracket holding the factory radios
rear support to the dash frame.
Bend back and forth until the
assembly breaks free for removal.

Dash panel modifications
1. Cut 1/8 inch from each side of the
radio opening of the factory radio
panel to allow clearance for the
aftermarket radio. (Figure A)
2. Snap the radio trim panel into the
factory panel prior to putting it all
back together. (Figure B )
