General safety instructions

Intended use

· Only use shaver to shave human facial hair.
· This appliance is designed for non-commercial use.

User requirements

· Read the operating manual in full and familiarise yourself with it before the first
use.
· This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be super-
vised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
· Only for European markets:
This appliance can be used both by children from 8 years of age and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must
not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children, unless they
are supervised.
· Keep the appliance out of reach of animals and protected against the effects of
the weather.
Hazards
Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance/mains cable.
f Do not use the appliance if it is not working correctly, if it is damaged or if
it has fallen into water.
f Never use the appliance if the mains cable or mains plug is damaged.
f In order to avoid hazards, repairs may only be performed at an authorised
service centre or by specialists properly trained in the handling of electro-
technical appliances, and using original spare parts.
