The LeanSteer Frame must be properly attached and secured. Failure to
properly attach the LeanSteer Frame and/or maintain the torque on the Wedge
Clamp fastener could result in machine malfunction and could cause personal
injury or damage to your Segway PT. Using the Segway PT without properly
assembling the LeanSteer Frame and/or maintaining the torque on the Wedge
Clamp fastener could lead to an unexpected change in steering and could
result in serious injury and/or damage to your Segway PT from loss of control,
collisions, and falls.
Check the tightness of the joint between the LeanSteer Frame and the Pivot
Base Assembly routinely and every time the LeanSteer Frame is removed and
reinstalled [using the method outlined in the document].
