Connect the 1/4" (smaller diameter) blue tubing to the
faucet stem; See Figure 3.
6. Firmly push the 1/4" blue poly tubing all the way into the faucet
stem until firmly seated.

Install the stop valve adapter tee; See Figure 4.
7. Locate and turn off the cold water shut off valve.
8. Disconnect the cold water line from the shut off valve.
9. Firmly seat the white plastic washer in the stop valve adapter
tee.
10. Attach the stop valve adapter tee to the shut off valve as shown
in Figure 4. Do not overtighten the adapter.
11. Reconnect the cold water line to the stop valve adapter tee.

Install the two (2) 3/8" slip fit tube fittings in Filter
Housing; See Figure 5.
12. Wrap each of the threaded ends of the tube fittings with 3 turns
of Teflon sealing tape.
13. One fitting has a 3/8" threaded end and a 3/8" tube fitting and
the other fitting has a 3/8" threaded end and a 1/4" tube fitting.
14. Screw the 3/8" x 3/8" fitting into the "IN" port of the filter
housing, and the 3/8"x 1/4" tube fitting into the "OUT" Port of
the filter housing. Use a wrench and tighten the two fittings into
the filter housing head. NOTE: The "IN" and "OUT" ports are
marked on the top of the filter housing.
Install the CB20 Filter Cartridge; See Figure 6.
15. Remove the protective wrapper on the filter cartridge.
16. Unscrew the bottom portion (sump portion) of the filter housing
and remove it from the top portion (head) of the filter housing.
17. Drop the cartridge into the sump. Make sure it is seated properly
over the guide, in the bottom of the sump.

NOTE: When installing the filter cartridge, the small hole in the
top of the cartridge faces up, toward the "head" portion of the
filter housing.
18. Be certain that the blue O-Ring is seated in the O-Ring seat,
located at the bottom of the threads in the sump.
19. Screw and hand tighten the sump of the filter cartridge back
onto the head of the filter cartridge.
20. Install the filter assembly onto the mounting screws, installed
back in step 2.
21. Tighten the mounting screws.

22. Connect the 3/8" white poly tubing from the "IN" port of the
filter housing to the stop valve adapter tee. Make sure tubing is
firmly seated.
23. Connect the 1/4" blue poly tubing from the faucet stem to the
"OUT" port of the filter housing.
NOTE: If you need to remove the water line from the fitting,
simply push in the collet ring while gently pulling the poly tubing
out of the fitting. See Figure 8.
24. Open the filter faucet and then slowly open the cold water shut
off valve.
25. To remove the air from the filter run the water for 30 minutes,
until the water runs clear.
NOTE: Some trapped air may exist for the first few days of
operation.
26. Check for leaks at all the fittings.
