Descaling Senseo
Important:
•
The complete descaling procedure consists of 4 cycles;
2 descaling cycles with descaling mixture and 2 rinsing cycles with fresh water.
•
Do not switch off the machine during the entire procedure.
•
To finish the complete descaling procedure takes up to 20-30 minutes.
•
After you have completed the last cycle, the appliance will switch off and the descaling light
goes out.
•
Use the correct descaling agent. Only citric acid descalers are suitable for descaling the
SENSEO® machine.
Descaling instruction SENSEO
Descaling cycle;
2 Cycles with the descaling mixture.
Action
1.
Mix 50 grams of citric acid with 1 liter cold
water in a separate jug.
Stir until the powder is dissolved.
Fill the water reservoir with the mixture.
2.
Place the water reservoir back onto the
coffee machine and put a bowl with a
capacity of min. 1500ml under the spout.
