Apple & Caramel
Empanadas
Ingredients for dough:
•
1 cup white corn flour
•
3 cups warm water
•
1/2 tsp salt
•
1 cup vegetable oil
Steps:
•
Place all ingridients in a bowl.
•
Slice the apples.
•
Simmer the apples and
cinnamon in water for 20-30
min.
•
Drain the apples.
•
Combine sugar, water and
lemon juice in sauce pan and
simmer at medium heat.
Note: Recipe makes aprox 10 -11 batches

2 green apples
•
1/2 cup water
•
1/2 tsp cinnamon
•
1 cup sugar
•
1/2 tsp lemon juice
•
Stir in the apples.
•

Fill your empanadas with apple
mixture.
•
