3. Maintenance and service

• It is normal for a boiler valve to leak water occasionally.
•
If the valve leaks continuously, lifting the valve and flushing it thoroughly may help
remedy the leak. Seal the valve afresh (29260).
• If continuous leakage (still) occurs after lifting the valve and flushing it thoroughly, then
the valve must be replaced.
• The Prescor valve is a safety product. We therefore recommend that it is replaced at
least every 10 years.
4. Removal
Release the pressure from the system.
There is a danger of burns! Hot water can flow out of the system.
Remove the valve.
Environment
Comply with local legislation when disposing of the valve.
According to the directives for pressure equipment 97/23/EC.
