OPERATION
Place the battery into the battery compartment.
■
NOTE: The raised rib on the side of the battery must be aligned with the groove in
the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment door and tighten screw to secure.
■
NOTE: Any time the red LED is on, the battery needs to be recharged.
CAUTION
Ensure the battery has enough charge to last throughout the monitoring
period desired.
INSTALLING/CHANGING THE REMOTE BATTERIES

The remote control for the motion sensor uses two 3 Volt button cell batteries (type CR
2032) that must be installed before you can operate the remote.
Press down on the visor clip on the back of the remote to remove the back cover.

NOTE: If the visor clip has been removed, press down on the back cover of the
remote.
If changing batteries, remove the two depleted batteries from under the holding
■
clips and discard.
Secure two new batteries under the holding clips.
■
NOTE: Make sure the ( + ) side of the battery is facing up as shown.
Replace the back cover and push up on the cover (not the visor clip) to secure.

SETTING A PERSONAL SECURITY CODE
See Figure 4
The motion alarm allows you to choose your own personal security code which can
range from 4 to 10 digits.
NOTE: The device must be in disarm mode to change the security code.
Press and hold the # key while entering the default security code — 0000.

NOTE: If you have previously changed the default code, enter the current security
code instead of the default code at this time.
Release the # key. If the code was entered successfully, the green LED will turn on.

Enter the desired new security code. This code must be between 4 and 10 digits
■
and must be entered within 30 seconds.
Press the # key to store the new code in the device. The LED will turn off if the new
■
code is stored successfully.
NOTE: The device will also provide audible feedback when changing the security code.
If the device beeps twice at any time, the previous step is accepted. If the device beeps
four times, the previous step was incorrect and the procedure should be started over
from the beginning.
WARNING
Always remove battery pack from your battery product when you are
assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use.
Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause
serious personal injury.
