Turn off all c ontrols before unplug-

with wet hands .
• Do not pull or c arry by c ord, us e
c ord as a handle, c los e door on c ord
or pull c ord around s harp edges or
c orners . Do not run applianc e over
c ord. K eep c ord away from heated

• The appliance has a rotating brush, a
hazard may occur if the appliance runs
over the supply cord.
• Do not us e with damaged c ord or
plug. If applianc e is not working as it
s hould, has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors , or dropped into water,
take it to a Hoover S ervic e C entre.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly quali ed persons in
order to avoid a hazard.

when any applianc e is us ed by or
near c hildren. Do not allow deep
c leaner to be us ed as a toy or to
unattended at any time.
• This appliance is not intended for use by

instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that

wax with c leaner.

when us ing detergents and other
c leaners with this mac hine.
• K eep detergents and other c leaners
out of c hildren's reac h.
• Do not us e to pic k up flammable or
c ombus tible liquids s uc h as gas oline
or us e in areas where they may be
pres ent.
• Do not pic k up c hlorine bleac h,
drain c leaner, gas oline or any other
toxic material with this applianc e.
• Do not pic k up anything that is
burning or s moking, s uc h as c iga-
rettes , matc hes , or hot as hes .
• Avoid pic king up hard, s harp
objec ts with the deep c leaner. T hey
may damage the mac hine.
• K eep hair, loos e c lothing, fingers ,
feet and all parts of body away from
openings and moving parts . Do not
operate c leaner in bare feet or when
wearing open toe s hoes or s andals .
• Do not put any objec t into open-
ings . Do not us e with any opening
bloc ked; keep free of dus t, lint, hair,
and anything that may reduc e air flow.
• To help prevent matting and res oil-
ing, avoid c ontac t with c arpets until
they are dry. K eep c hildren and pets
away from c arpets until they are c om-
pletely dry.
• S tore in a dry plac e. Do not expos e
mac hine to freezing temperatures .
