SECURING CHILD IN CAR
SEAT
This child restraint can be used
as a forward-facing car seat with
or without the seat back.
The car seat should be used
with the seat back (Picture
1) as long as possible before
removing the seat back and
using the seat base only (Picture
2).

HIGH BACK CAR SEAT USE
Child MUST meet all of the
following requirements:
Child weight is between 15 and
25 kg
Top of child's ears are below
top of seat back
2 CAR SEAT (WITHOUT SEAT
BACK) USE:
Child MUST meet all of the
following requirements:
Child's weight is between 15
and 36 kg and
Child's height is not over 145
cm and
Top of child's ears are below
top edge of vehicle seat back or
headrest.
NOTE: DO NOT use this

types of vehicle seats

vehicle

SECURING HIGH BACK
CAR SEAT WITH LAP AND
SHOULDER BELT:
Select a vehicle seat position,
which has a lap and shoulder
belt. DO NOT place the Car
Seat in a
seating position that has only
a vehicle lap belt (Picture 4). If
adjustable, position seat back in
the upright
position.

Place Car Seat forward-facing
on vehicle seat and contacting
vehicle seat back (Picture 5).
Position child in
Car Seat, with back flat against
back of car seat.

Adjust headrest so that
shoulder belt guide is at or
above child's shoulder (Picture
6).

Place the vehicle lap
and shoulder belt across front
of child and buckle seat belt
(Picture 7). Position vehicle lap
belt under both
armrests and snugly adjust lap
belt. Place the vehicle shoulder
belt over child's chest. Snugly
