Blade care
For best results mower blades must be kept
sharp. Replace bent or damaged blades.
Use spare blades approved by the
tractor manufacturer only. It is
dangerous to use not approved blades
as they can damage your tractor and
void your warranty.
Blade removal
1. Raise mower to highest position to allow
access to blades.
Note: Protect your hands with gloves
and/or wrap the blades with thick
fabric.
2 Remove blade bolt, spring washer and lock
washer and flat washer securing blade.
3 Install new or resharpened blade with
trailing edge up as shown.
Important: To ensure proper assembly,
center hole in blade must align with
start on mandrel assembly.
4. Reassemble blade bolt, lock washer and flat
washer as shown in the picture.
5. Tighten blade bolt securely (36.6 to 47.4
N.m torque).
Important: Blade bolt has been heat
treated. If necessary to replace it, use an
approved model only.
