To use throttle control
Always operate engine at full speed.
Operating engine at less than full throttle
✔
reduces efficiency.
✔
Full throttle offers the best mower
performance.
How to move forward and backward

controlled by the motion control lever.
1. Start tractor with clutch/brake pedal
depressed, and motion control lever in
neutral (N) position.
2. Move motion control lever to desired
position.
3. Slowly release clutch/brake pedal to start
movement.

To adjust mower cutting height

establishes the cutting height.
✔
Firmly hold the lift lever.
✔
Press knob with thumb and move lever to
desired position.
The cutting height range is approximately
✔
3.8 and 10.2 cm. The heights are
measured from the ground to the blade
tip with the engine not running. Those
heights are approximate and may vary
depending on soil conditions, grass height
and type of grass being mowed.
✔
The average lawn shall be cut to
approximately 6.3 cm during the cold
season, and to over 7.6 cm during hot
months. For healthier lawns, mow often
and after moderate growth.
✔
For best cutting performance, grass over
15.2 cm in height shall be mowed twice.
Make the first cut relatively high; the
second to desired height.
To operate mower
Your tractor is equipped with an operator
presence sensing switch. Any attempt by the
operator to leave the seat with the engine
running and the attachment clutch engaged
will shut off the engine. You have to be
seated in the center of the seat to prevent the
engine from shutting off when the tractor is
operated in slopes or uneven terrain.
1. Select desired height of cut with
attachment lift control.
2. Start mower blades by engaging
attachment clutch control.
To stop mower blades
Disengage attachment clutch control.
Do not operate the mower without
either the entire grass catcher, on
