SAFETY INFORMATION

To ensure safe operation and service of this Current Probe, follow
Use the Current Probe only as specified in the operating instructions,
otherwise the Current Probe's safety features may not protect you.
Adhere to local and national safety codes. Individual protective
equipment must be used to prevent shock and arc blast injury where
hazardous live conductors are exposed.
Do not hold the Current Probe anywhere beyond the tactile barrier.
Before each use, inspect the Current Probe. Look for cracks or
missing portions of the Current Probe housing or output cable
insulation. Also look for loose or weakened components. Pay
particular attention to the insulation surrounding the jaws.
To avoid electric shock, do not touch any naked conductor with hand
or skin; and do not ground yourself while using the Current Probe.
Use caution when working with voltages above 60V dc, 30V ac rms
or 42V ac peak. Such voltages pose a shock hazard.
Do not use the Current Probe if it operates abnormally.
Before use, verify the Current Probe's operation by measuring a
known current.
Do not operate the Current Probe where explosive gas, vapor, or
dust is present.
Unclamp the Current Probe from any conductor, and disconnect the
multimeter from the Current Probe before opening the battery cover
or case of the Current Probe.
If the LED does not light when the range switch is in the 400A or
1500A range position, the battery is low and must be replaced
immediately.
Do not use the Current Probe if the Current Probe or your hand is
wet.
Never use the Current Probe on circuits with voltages higher than
600V rms.
Do not use the Current Probe if the wear indicator in the jaw opening
is not visible.
Do not use the Current Probe above its rated frequency of 400Hz.
Except replacing battery, never attempt to repair or service the
Current Probe.
CAT IV - Measurement Category IV is for measurements performed
at the source of the low-voltage installation. Examples are electricity
meters and measurements on primary overcurrent protection devices
and ripple control units.

Caution, risk of electric shock.
Earth ( ground ) Terminal
Conforms to European Union directives
The equipment is protected throughout by double insulation or rein-
forced insulation.
Application around and removal from hazardous live conductors is
permitted.
