• If the appliance capsizes when wet
vacuum cleaning, immediately
disconnect the mains plug. There is
the risk of an electric shock if liquid
runs out and comes into contact with
the electrics. Stand the appliance up
again, press down the ON/OFF switch
into the OFF position and empty the
collection receptacle.
Before continuing to vacuum
clean it is necessary to ensure
that no liquid has entered the motor (2).
Otherwise have the appliance checked
by an authorised skilled person, before
you operate it again.
• Disconnect the mains plug if liquid or
foam leaks from the dust extraction
system and press down the ON/OFF
switch (3) into the OFF position.
Before resuming work, the cause
must be remedied:
– collection receptacle fill (empty);
– appliance clogged (remove blockage);
– intensely frothing liquid in the
collection receptacle (empty).
• Check the appliance regularly for
visible signs of damage.
• Do not use the appliance, if it shows
visible signs of damage on the casing
or mains cable. In order to avoid
danger, repairs to the casing and
mains cable may only be carried out
by authorised skilled labour.
• Before you disconnect the plug from
the socket, switch off the appliance
with the ON/OFF switch. Never pull
on the lead but take hold of the plug
in order to separate the appliance
from the mains.
