Below ceiling access fixtures D010/D010TR only
To replace this unit's driver from below the ceiling:
1. Remove the trim from the housing (pull gently).
2. Remove the optic (see figure 6)
3. Aim the mechanism 180-degrees from the driver by
using a Phillips screwdriver (see figure 8a).
4. Tilt the mechanism 45-degrees (see figure 9)
5. At the top of the housing, you will see a screw that
locks the driver rail mechanism. Turn the screw with a
Phillips screwdriver counter clockwise to loosen (do no
remove the screw completely). See figure 14.
6. Insert the Phillips screw driver into the large slot on the
rail system and drag the driver bracket assembly so that
the driver is directly over the hole in the ceiling. (see
figure 14)
7 . Remove driver retention screw from the bottom of the
driver bracket assembly (see figure 15).
8. Gently pull the driver until the spring detaches from the
bracket assembly.
9. Carefully pull the driver out of the ceiling recognizing
the supply wires and dimming wires will follow the
driver through the aperture.
10. Discard old driver and rewire new driver.
11. Replace the driver back into the housing following steps
7 through step 4 in reverse. Make sure wires will not
interfere with the mechanism tilting and rotating.
12. Re-position the mechanism as desired. Replace
optic onto light engine and insert trim. Clean trim
if necessary before replacing (to remove dust or
fingerprints).
