Users who are registered with the Wilo-Smart Gateway can then monitor the config-
uration parameters and process values at any time using Wilo-Smart connect (part of
the Wilo-Assistant app).
With the Wilo-Smart connect function, data from a pump connected to a Gateway to
the mobile device (and vice versa) is processed as follows:

There are two LEDs on the Wilo-Smart Gateway.

During a software update, the upper LED (Run) flashes green (100 ms on, 100 ms off).
7 Installation and electrical connection
Electrical connection may only be carried out by a qualified electrician and in accord-
ance with the applicable regulations!
When installing the Wilo-Smart Gateway and cable routing, the applicable regulations
and standards for safety extra-low voltage SELV as well as the guideline VDE 0100
part 410 are to be observed!

Before installation and electrical connection, disconnect the system/switch cab-
inet from the power supply!

From the pump to the Wilo-Smart Gateway via a cable-based Wilo Net connec-
tion.
From the Gateway to the Wilo-Smart Cloud via a cable-based Ethernet connec-
tion with Internet access. (Optional components, e.g. LTE routers, also enable a
wireless Internet connection).
From the Cloud to the Wilo-Smart connect app on the mobile device, Internet
connection (via the mobile network or WiFi).
Upper LED (green): Run
Lower LED (red): Status
If both LEDs (green/red) light up, the Wilo-Smart Gateway starts up.
If the upper LED flashes green (Run), the Wilo-Smart Gateway runs normally.
If the lower LED lights up red (Status), an error has occurred.
