Fountain Units
WARNING:
Risk of unit damage.
anchor's and chemical resin's manufacturers indications for drilling, install the
anchor, inject mortar and respect always setting time.
WARNING: Make sure the unit is fastened to a C20/25 concrete base.
1) Install chemical anchors to the roof, with a minimum 96mm of threaded rod
embedment in the concrete. Leave a minimum of 60mm of threaded rod outside
the concrete for a correct equipment fixation.
2) Fasten and level the unit to anchors (②) using two nuts and a washer. Use the
second nut to block the first nut in order to avoid untightening due to unit
vibrations.
WARNING:
threadlocker on the anchor nuts to avoid device untightening and falling risk.
In case of equipment is fastened on a structure, make sure it can bear digital curtain's
weight fully filled of water (73kg a meter), adding a security coefficient of 2,5 due
to vibrations during equipment operation. Total weight is 190 kg/m.
To install digital curtains longer than a meter segment, them must be joined using
side flanges, with gaskets and screws supplied with the equipment. See picture 3.
2.2
WIRING AND PIPING
2.2.1
Hydraulic
Add a 2-1/2" water supply to each digital curtain's inlet, ①a
the installation, every 4 meters.
Water inlet piping diameter must be adequate to reach maximum 1,5m/s water speed.
This gives a correct hydraulic stabilization to achieve a proper image impression on
water.
Example: For a 4 meters long digital curtain, total flow would be 4x4m3/h = 16m3/h.
For this case, on a 75mm pipe diameter (2-1/2"), flow speed will be 1,2m/s.
Ensure that the installed pump ③
5m pressure in hydraulic inlet, considering installation height and components
pressure drop (piping, valves, filter, accessories...).
Example: In a digital curtain placed at a 4 meter height from the pump (+4 m), with
valves and accessories pressure drop equivalent to 30 pipe meters (+1 m), pressure
drop of pipe (Ø75mm) and 25m long (+1 m) and pressure drop of obtured filter (+6
m), the pump work pressure would be 17 m (5+4+1+1+6).
A 1-1/2" relief connection is required ④

excesses in the digital curtain's manifold when generating images, because it may
produce deformation on figures played.
