n Return your kettle to the nearest KRUPS After-sales Service Centre, the
only organisation with authorisation to carry out repairs.
n See the guarantee terms and list of centres in the booklet that came with
your kettle. The type and serial number are indicated on the bottom of
your kettle. The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and domestic
use only. Any breakage or damage resulting from failure to follow these
instructions for use shall not be covered by the guarantee.
KRUPS reserves the right to modify the characteristics or components
of its kettles at any time in the interests of the consumer.
Do not use the kettle. No attempt should be made to dismantle the
appliance or safety devices.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its after sales service or any person with similar qualifications, in order to
avoid all danger.
PREVENTING DOMESTIC ACCIDENTS
n For a child, even a slight burn can sometimes be serious.
n As they grow, teach your children to pay attention to the hot liquids that
can be found in a kitchen. Put the kettle and cord well towards the back
of the work surface, out of the reach of children.
n If an accident happens, place cold water immediately on the burn and
call a doctor if necessary.
To avoid injury: do not carry your child or your baby when you are
drinking or carrying a hot beverage.
